تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل و قياس أثر كوفيد19 على مؤشرات الأسواق المالية العالمية و العربية خلال الفترة الممتدة من 26/01/2020 إلى غاية 25/04/2021، وللوصول إلى هدف الدراسة تم استخدام بيانات أسبوعية لعينة مكونة من مؤشر S&P500 لبورصة أمريكا و EGX30 لبورصة مصر كمتغير تابع و عدد الحالات المؤكدة، عدد حالات الوفيات و نسبة الانتشار لفيروس كوفيد19 كمتغير مستقل.
اعتمدت الدراسة منهج الوصفي و المنهج التحليلي باستخدام نموذج ARDL كأداة إحصائية و أظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود تأثير سلبي للفيروس على مؤشر بورصة أمريكا S&P50 و بدرجة عالية مقارنة بتأثيره السلبي الضعيف على مؤشر بورصة مصر

This study aims to analyze and measure the impact of COVID-19 on global and Arab financial market indices during the period from 01/26/2020 to 04/25/2021.
To reach the goal of the study, weekly data was used for a sample consisting of the S&P 500 index for the American Stock Exchange and the EGX30 index for the Egyptian Stock Exchange as a dependent variable, the number of confirmed cases, the number of deaths and the prevalence rate of the Covid-19 virus as an independent variable.
The study adopted a descriptive approach and an analytical approach using the ARDL model as a statistical tool.
The results of the study showed a negative impact of the virus on the American Stock Exchange S&P50 index, to a high degree compared to its weak negative impact on the Egyptian Stock Exchange EGX30 index
