The study of this topic aims to highlight the role of renewable energies in achieving sustainable development, while highlighting the role of solar energy in achieving this, especially as it is considered one of the most important sources of renewable energy.

We concluded in this study that renewable energies are the only opportunity to supply energy to the world in an efficient and clean manner that is not harmful to the environment, especially solar energy as one of the renewable energy sources, as it effectively contributes to achieving sustainable development through economic, social and environmental fields, so the interest in developing this source has become Energy is a goal that many countries seek to achieve, and Algeria, due to its vast area and geographical location, is one of the countries that can exploit this energy, as it has huge potentials of solar energy, which qualifies it to be the pioneer in this field and can rely on it in the future as an alternative energy to traditional pulsating energies
