The current research aim to identtfy The effect of the chopper cards strategy on mathematics achievement and lateral thinking among middle school studentsThe researcher chose the experimental method, and the research sample consisted of students of the first intermediate grade - Oqba Bin Nafeh Intermediate School, they were chosen by random method, they were divided into two groups with 42 students for each The researcher used an achievement test consisting of 25 items of the multiple test type, as well as the lateral thinking test consisting of 30 items of the multiple test.

group After completing the experiment the researcher reached the results- The members of the experimental group that studied mathematics according to the chopper cards strategy outperformed the members of the control group that were taught according to the traditional method in the achievement test.
