Abstract EN

The Algerian intelligence service is considered to be the nerve of the liberation revolution due to the effective role played in overturning the balance of power between the Algerian revolution and French colonialism.

This service strived hard to combat espionage and spies deployed inside and outside the country, and this what allowed thwart all the enemy's attempts to infiltrate the revolution and weakening it.

For that, Abdelhafid BOUSSOUF worked to develop this service and its appendices and three strategic tasks were assigned to it: logistics, public transportation and communication as well as information and counterintelligence.
