Abstract EN
Loving life and protecting it is a human primitive instinct.
Death, instead, is a sure end to this life.
but if Man kills himself or just tries to do that, this asks a lot of questions.
Suicide, today, became one of the major causes of death among the youth.
As a result, a lot of countries have applied policies and strategies to limit this phenomenon.
Also, a lot of researchers are interested in studying it from different aspects.
This study was in the same framework and aimed at designing a tool that assesses suicide disposition with the adaptation of the Cognitive-behavioral theory.
Starting from previous studies, interviews with suicide trial cases, measures and tests on suicide and relying on specialists views in the field the tool was designed and came in its final version (after counting its psychometric features, validity and stability by possible statistics and using the responses of a random sample of 547 Algerians youth of both sexes) in the shape of a measurement to suicide disposition consisting of 57 clauses divided on six axes with five selections for each clause.
This measurement can be applied on all who are over 13 years old without any conditions.
