Abstract EN

Medical facilities have enjoyed a number of international mechanisms which have ensured great protection in armed conflicts through international organizations represented by governmental and non-governmental organizations.

In this research, we highlighted the role of the United Nations and the recommendations and resolutions it came up with in favor of the protection of these facilities.

We also shed light on the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), which is working to enforce the protection of medical facilities.

The role of the League of Arab States and Médecins Sans Frontières was equally discussed.
