Abstract EN

This research studies and analyzes Anas ibn Maalik’s hadith on the virtue of upholding the ties of kinship that increases one’s provision and lifespan.The methodological approach adopted is the inductive deductive approach.

The study concluded that this hadith is Sahih, and that upholding the ties of kinship is morally increases lifespan or provision.

This does not contradict the fact that lifespans and provision are ordained by Allah’s will and prior knowledge.

There is nothing wrong in doing an act of worship for the sake of Allah’s rewards and worldly benefits.
