Abstract EN

This research aims to study the term ‘Consequential Requirement’ of Al-Shatibi by explaining its concept and roots in the fundamentalist thinking, its characteristics, and discretionary functions.

One of the results that the study led to was that this term is from the coining of Al-Shatibi, and it is used by fundamentalists before him in the sense, not in the verbal form.

Also he coined it in the form of (Financial Industriousness), and specified some purposes for it in the field of application of rulings, in addition to its being (i.e.

the term) one of the keys to his fundamentalist innovation.

This is because the revelation aspect was overlooked in the fundamentalist teaching.

There is a need, therefore, to determine its origins and literature, so that the diligent scholar would follow the pathway of interest and justice.

On top of these assets or those literary notes is the observation of the disciples in their steady process, which was influential but indirect.

This research adopted the inductive and analytical approach, as it extrapolated the commentaries of this term and its branches, analyzed its relationships and functions, and criticized what needs to be criticized.
