Abstract EN

Income level is one of the most important factors that directly affect tourism activity in any part of the world.

Since local tourism is one of the principal tourism forms, it is affected by levels of income positively or negatively.

In this study, the researcher discusses how levels of income influence local tourism in the Gaza Strip and determine the level of the industry's demand.

Rising incomes mean increasing demand for travel and tourism, especially during vacations, in pursuit of pleasure; it is vice versa in the case of low-income levels where tourism goes through a notable decline in demand even in times of vacations .The researcher used the objective approach because it is more general and comprehensive than other approaches.

It is also more convenient for this study.

Many data collecting methods are used in the study such as the questionnaire, interview, and statistical analysis
