Abstract EN

Preparing the student to face the challenges of the twenty-first century and making them effective individuals who assume their responsibilities requires teaching them according to modern strategies that develop their experiences and deepen their level of knowledge in the first place and enable them to gain competence in facing future situations in the second place.

All of this can be achieved in light of the use of modern strategies based on theoretical foundations and principles that enhance the student’s practical work as it is considered the focus and goal of the educational process.

Therefore, the two researchers designed the strategy, the subject of the research, according to the theory of experiential learning and aimed to identify its effectiveness in developing the levels of depth of knowledge according to the classification of Norman Webb.

Fourth Year students in the college of Education, University of Babylon participated in the study.

The statistical package (SPSS) has revealed several results, including the effectiveness of the applied strategy; the level of its effectiveness in the group that was applied to was (0.62) according to the McGujian equation, while the effectiveness rate of the regular method was low as it reached (0.38).

Therefore, the researchers recommended that it is necessary to use the current strategy in other studies, as it focuses on students’ activity and enhances their interaction with topics and enhance their practical practices in applying the concepts and knowledge provided to them.
