Abstract EN

This study aims to clarify the contribution of Bank credits allocated to finance Small and Meduim Enterprises (SME’s) provided by the Agriculture and Rural Development Bank (BADR) in reducing unemployment levels in Adrar state during the period (2013-2019).

To achieve the aforementioned objective the researchers adopted the descriptive analytical approach and the case study approach, where the various data, information and statistics obtained from the various previous studies were analyzed, as well as from the regional association for exploitation in the state of adrar.

This study has been able to prove the prominent role that banks credits for Small and Medium Enterprises play in supporting employment in the state of Adrar.

The study also recorded several shortcomings in this field, the most prominent of which is the absence of effective feasibility studies for the operations of financing Small and Medium Enterprises, in addition to funding only for the establishment stage of these enterprises.
