Abstract EN

The study aims to employ creative thinking and analysis methods in preparing scenarios for solving the poverty problem in Jordan.

The study uses the descriptive research method to achieve its objectives, the data were collected from electronic and office sources, also creative methods represented by brainstorming methods were used too.

While the data were modeled using the method of systemized thinking and analyzed depending on the methods of deduction and induction and within the frameworks of creative thinking represented by morphological analysis methods and Cross Impact Matrix.

The study found a qualitative modeling of solutions to the problem of poverty in Jordan in the morphological space matrix that consisted of two external and internal environments that included (8) axes (columns) and (84) cases (rows), this matrix, after being subjected to a test of consistency between its axes and cases, has been used in constructing different scenarios for the problem of poverty in Jordan.

The results also showed that the social axis, in its different cases, comes in the first order in terms of the degree of its impact on the problem of poverty in Jordan, followed by the political and cultural axis from the external environment of the problem in the second order, and the social axis from the internal environment in the third order.

The study recommends using and applying of qualitative modeling methods in studying, analyzing and classifying the causes and solutions of social and human problems
