The patterns is one of the most prominent features of the Islamic arts because it is a committed and functional art, As well as its ideological link, which marked all the basic concepts that contributed to the construction and laying of all kinds and aspects, so this research sought to study the patterns of the Arabic calligraphy in terms of the formal construction of these patterns of importance of enhancing the artistic and aesthetic capabilities of the Arabic calligraphy, The research has explained the concept of design as an intellectual construct with a philosophical reference.

The research also carried out most of the linear forms, explaining its structural and structural nature and its ability to interact with the linguistic text in the traditional formulations or to respond to contemporary aesthetic tastes.
