The study aimed to reveal the level of the relationship between the sense of psychological loneliness and social support and the differences between them according to the gender, age, educational level and degree of disability of the child.

The study sample consisted of (54) father (27) mother (27) from the families of Al-Wafa Center for people with special needs- Port Sudan using the measure of psychological loneliness of el-Dasouki (1998) and the measure of social support of Abdel-Maksoud and El-Sersy (2001) The data collected by the (spss) program for statistical analysis were analyzed and the results: - The presence of a negative correlation function at the level (0.01) between the feeling of psychological loneliness and social support at.
