The research sought to uncover how the Arab public selected its sources of information during the Corona crisis, and the researcher argues that there are a set of factors that affect the public in choosing its sources of information during crises.
In order to reveal this, the research used the survey method for a random sample of the Arab public, whose strength reached (216), by distributing an electronic questionnaire that included a set of questions that serve the objectives of the research, and the research reached a set of results, the most important of which was: The public has relied heavily on personal communication in tracking the developments of the Corona crisis, and websites specialized in health matters were at the forefront of the sources from which the public drew their information about the crisis; This means a high level of awareness among the public in tracking the developments of the pandemic, and the results also revealed that the level of exposure to the means of communication and media was low despite the intensification of the crisis and the high rates of coverage by the various media.
