The Coronavirus pandemic has been of a major concern, since its beginning, to the international media recipient in general and to the Arab media recipient in particular.
Accordingly, Arab media have attempted to create a kind of interaction and influence on public, by media messages that have addressed topics related to the pandemic prevalence and its repercussions on the Arab nations.
In particular, reporting information on the global pandemic and its widespread has become increasingly blurred due to the accumulated media momentum as a result of disseminating statistics and information on the pandemic prevalence.
This momentum has contributed to the emergence and consolidation of deep-rooted behaviors and attitudes among Arab media recipient.
Moreover, it has in one way or another impeded the process of receiving media massages on the pandemic.
This was due to the vague picture given by the Arab media on the spread of the pandemic which has created disruption in the receipt process because of the absence of proper Arab understanding, recognizing and coaching mechanisms to counter the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.
This left the Arab media recipient puzzled about the Arab medium manager inability to provide effective mechanisms to prepare the public psychologically and morally to confront the pandemi Thus, this Arab media shutdown and overdramatize over the consequences of the pandemic prevalence had brought the Arab media recipient before an actual receipt issue, i.e., where he/she can find the accurate information, and what media means can report the reality of the pandemic.
This has led to searching and investigating multiple sources of information to remove the ambiguity, tension and fear faced.
The problem has also been reflected in Arab reality in general, especially with the terrible spread of fake news and statistics through virtual social media sites.
Based on this proposal, a research paper will be submitted aiming at gaining familiarity with disruption aspects of the Arab media through its various reporting means concerning Covid- 19 pandemic.
Besides, a number of solutions and recommendations will be suggested, which would establish an Arab media that would contribute in developing the Arab media recipient's cognitive and interpretive processes, particularly during unforeseen crises
