Abstract EN

The present study aimed at identifying the prominent educational problems faced by Saudi scholarship students studying the English language in Britain with reference to the following dimensions: faculty members, teaching methods, educational activities, content and the teaching and learning techniques, and evaluation.

the study also aimed at identifying if there are any statistically significant differences between the responses of the study subjects attributed to the variables of gender, academic level, and type of the institution.

the researcher used the descriptive survey method and the questionnaire as a tool to collect the data.

the study sample consisted of (121) male and female Saudi scholarship students at Manchester city.

the study concluded that the educational problems facing the Saudi scholarship students with reference to the following dimensions: faculty members, teaching methods, educational activities, content and teaching and learning techniques, and evaluation are of moderate degree of agreement for all the dimensions.

furthermore, the study demonstrated that there are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the study subjects’ responses attributed to the variables of gender, academic level, and type of the institution in all the dimensions of the educational problems facing the students.
