Abstract EN

Study title: Methods and fields of Woman-education in the light of the Prophetic tradition Aim of the Study: this study aimed to highlight the prophetic traditions related to the importance of educating women and deducing their educational indications by examining the educational methodologies and woman-educational fields as contained in the prophetic traditions.

-The researcher has- in carrying out this study- made use of the inductive and deductive approaches.

-The major findings of the study are as follows: There abound the prophetic Hadiths and traditions that affirm the right of woman in education, learning and teaching.

These traditions have indicated the merit of educating woman and the reward for doing it.

They affirm that some types of knowledge may be obligatorily required, desirable and some parts are legally permissible.

Also, the prophetic methodologies vary to include many cases where the traditions are recorded and also include all the areas that a Muslim woman needs to know about her religion: doctrine, Sharī'ah, and morals and special provisional rulings for woman in her purification, prayers and marital relationships.

At the conclusion of the study, the researcher proposed a number of recommendations, including: the need for families and educational and social organizations to pay attention to women, granting them the right to learn what will benefit them in terms of science and skills, focusing on the fields mentioned in this study, and giving them the opportunity to practice the educational and instructional role towards her gender, and the emphasis on all those who are in charge of educating women to account for the reward for her education, and piety for Allah the Almighty in what they offer her, so that they will be rewarded by Allah Almighty, and the importance of establishing research related to women and their rights from Islamic education sources, and emphasizing the role of educational researchers in this establishment.
