Abstract EN

The aim of this study was to investigate the role of television programs to promote the educational values of the Palestinian child .

The researcher used the descriptive field survey, the study population consisted of all managers and teachers of kindergartens in the Governorate of Salfit, the study sample included the entire population of the study of (104), directors and educators .

The researcher used the statistical program for Social Sciences (SPSS) for data processing statistically, the results show no statistically significant differences at the level of ( = 0.05) of the impact of television in promoting the values of children kindergarten from the perspective of managers and teachers of the kindergarten in Salfit attributed for each of the variables ( the nature of the work , qualification , years of experience , marital status , educational qualification ) .

The results also show that most furtherance values for the children 's television programs " programs watched by children increase their language reaping, " the least of furtherance is " working televised programs to instill the trend towards the scientific method of thinking." In the light of these results the researcher suggests the following recommendations: 1.

That the family compensates for harm resulting programs and TV series through proper education and proper guidance and counseling.

Planning of television programs broadcast before work on the suitability for children.

3.

Monitor the budget for educational media units and Educational departments are enough to implement its information.

4.

Increase the volume of educational programs for children, especially in the Palestinian media.
