Abstract EN

The present study is aim to recognize the methods of parental treatment as perceived by the sons and its relation with some demographical variables in the basic school in the Eastern Khartoum Locality.

To attain this aim the researchers used the descriptive method which suits this study.

A random sample of 260 pupils, from basic private schools in easstern Khartoum area are selected.

The researchers used parental treatment methods as outlined by Al-Megheiseeb and Muafagh Mahmud, as a tool of collecting data.

Statistical package for social sciences program used in statistical analysis of collected data and determine reliability and validity.

The results are as follows: 1-The father treatment methods are characterized by high average while each of methods (paramount protection-negligence) of the father is characterized by high rate and (tolerance-authority) by low average, but mother treatment methods are characterized by low average, while each of methods(paramount protection-negligence) of the mother is characterized by high rate and (tolerance-authority) of the mother by passiveness.

2-There are no differences statistical significance between father treatment methods and variable type., There are no statistical significance differences between methods(paramount protection-negligence) and (tolerance-authority) of the father and variable type, as for mother treatment methods which showed statistical significance differences between mother treatment methods (paramount protection-negligence) and variable type, but there are no statistical significance differences between method (tolerance-authority) of the mother and the variable type..

4- There is a direct correlation between the overall methods of the mother and the mother’s educational level.

There is a direct correlation found between the method (paramount protection-negligence) of the mother and the mother’s educational level, but there is no correlation between the method (tolerance-authority) of the mother and the mother’s educational level.
