The study aimed to reveal the reality of strategic planning and its role in crisis management from the point of view of workers in Dura municipality.

The study sample consisted of (59) workers and workers in Dura municipality.

The descriptive and analytical approach was used because it is the most appropriate to know the reality of the aspects of the study.

Where the research team used the questionnaire as a tool to study and collect the necessary data, the questionnaire consisted of (5) sections, namely (the importance of planning in crisis management, the requirements for the success of strategic planning for crisis management.

Constraints in the use of strategic planning in crisis management, the role of strategic planning in the early detection of the crisis, The role of strategic planning in containing damages).

The results of the study indicated that there is a very high role for strategic planning in crisis management, and it shows a very high importance for planning in crisis management in Dura municipality.

It was also found that the requirements for success of strategic planning for crisis management in Dura municipality came at a very high degree.

It turned out that the degree of obstacles to the use of strategic planning in crisis management in Dura municipality came at a very high degree.

It was also found that the role of strategic planning in the early detection of the crisis in the Dura municipality came at a high degree.

And it turned out that the role of strategic planning in containing the damages in Dura municipality came at a high degree.
