At a time when many studies, especially the French ones, focused on the pioneer of the popular resistance, Emir Abdelkader and the founder of the modern Algerian state, on the military side represented in his battles and military plans, as well as on the political side represented in his treaties and the way he conducts the affairs of his emerging country, we find the Algerian historian Muhammad Sharif Sahli focused in his valuable book "Prince Abdul Qadir, Knight of Faith" on the human and spiritual aspect of the prince's life, and the historian has shown that the prince has risen to glory thanks to his humanity and nobility.
