In this article, we deal with the development of divorce cases in Algerian society during the period from 2005 to 2018, and the bet raised in this work is to analyze and discuss demographic statistical indicators in our society, after monitoring divorce cases that have witnessed a terrible increase in recent years, and this is based on the statistical indicators of divorce since 2005, without neglecting the comparison of the indicators of marriage and the indicators of divorce during the period studied, which will fluctuate between high and low.

the main objective of this study is to uncover the relationship between high divorce rates and low marriage rates in light of the continuous increase in the number of the population in the Algerian society, and the results showed that it is more affected by cultural and social changes, and the crystallization of individualism and the changing role and status of it.
