Abstract EN

This study aims to determine the difference in resilience among refugees in Palestinian and Syrian camps and the Lebanese in Lebanon.

the sample of the study consists of (375(palestinian, Syrian and Lebanese individuals, with the means of the age of the total sample amounting to (34.69).

the resilience scale developed by Conner and Davidson was translated and developed.

the psychometric characteristics of the validity and reliability were calculated.

the study found that palestinian males and females show greater resilience when compared to the Syrian sample of both genders, while Syrian females are also of greater resilience than Syrian males.

in addition, Lebanese males are of greater resilience than Syrian males.

the findings of the study indicate that resilience is an important variable, and worthy of further studies as part of the topics covered in the fields of positive psychology and personality.
