Abstract EN

This study aimed to reveal the degree of primary school teacher's adequacy in implementing physical and sport education lesson.

it also aims to describe the reality of the competencies of primary education teachers in the light of some variables such as gender and experience, in order to achieve the goal of the study, the descriptive approach was used on a sample consisting of 25 male and female teachers teaching at the primary level, the data was collected by using a questionnaire form consisting of 20 phrases and divided into two dimensions (pedagogical dimension, educational-learning dimension), as for methods the statistical program SPSS was used in the process of statistical analysis, by using the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, independent samples t-test, Cornbrash’s alpha coefficient, spearman-brown coefficient, correlation.

the results of the study showed that the degree of primary school teachers' adequacy in implementing a physical and sport education lesson are moderate, but they have high pedagogical abilities, while their teaching-learning abilities are medium, the results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the degree of possessing the adequacy in implementation, the lesson due to the variables of gender and professional experience.
