Abstract EN
Objectives: The objectives of the research are to: -Preparing a training curriculum to develop physical fitness for employees of the Internal Security Forces personal.
-identifying the effect of the training curriculum for the development of physical fitness on the functional competency of the research sample.
Methodology and sampling: The experimental approach was used to suit the nature of the research problem.
The research sample consisted of (30) students from the Police Academy College in Erbil, who were divided by drawing method into two experimental and control groups of equal number and by (15) for each group, and parity was achieved between the two groups in the variables of mass and length.
Age and physical variables agreed upon by specialists.
The research procedures included designing curriculum periodic training style and the importance conformity of those opinions was taken into consideration.
Thus, (4) physical variables were adopted and tested by specialists, the experimental group implemented the curriculum proposed by the researchers using the interval training method, and the control group implemented the training curriculum of the Police College, and it took Implementation of the training curriculum (8) weeks at (4) training units per week.
Results and conclusion: The general training curriculum that the control group used made the latest development in most of the physical characteristics, which rose to the level of moral differences, namely (maximum transitional speed, speed endurance, strength endurance)The proposed training curriculum prepared by the researchers, and which was used by the experimental group, brought about an improvement in all physical characteristics and rose to the level of the significant differences (maximum transition speed, maximum strength of the arms, speed endurance, strength endurance).
