The process in which selecting the basketball players in our country is still by getting the experts and coaches opinion the coaches rely on personal diligence and do not use the methods of scientific standardization in testing, measurement and that the insufficient view of selection will lead to the loss of promising energies.

since basketball is one of the group games increasing every day at the required level, and the need for objective selection tests was required to know the selection of the variables that contribute effectively to the selection process and determine the levels of reference, serve those in charge of these teams by providing them with quantitative indicators suitable for judgment with a view to select and evaluate.

on the other hand, neglecting the rule that says that some tests that were built for a specific age group may not be suitable for a category another age where the levels of sport components differ and their importance with the different age of players and the interest of most previous studies in the age groups within the age of competition, the championship and the neglect of the category of education teams players, which constitute the cornerstone of the development of sport and through the foregoing lies the problem of our research.
