Abstract EN

The importance of the research lies in the necessity of using a measurement of (vo2max) as an indicator of aerobic fitness and determining the best methods to be used with university teams to help the trainer obtain accurate information about the level of aerobic fitness of the player, which helps in achieving the achievement.

As for the research problem, given cases of The fluctuations that we see during the university team matches with handball, especially with regard to two indicators of (vo2max) and tactical ability, so the researchers will make a comparison in these two indicators between the teams of Al-Mustansiriya University and Diyala University with handball.

As the player must speed and due to the diversity of skills and activities in the handball game, the players need an ability to (vo2max) aerobic and anaerobic (tactical) ability to fulfill the requirements of the game.

The second chapter included theoretical and previous studies similar to the current study.

The descriptive approach in the method of studying correlational relations, being the most appropriate curriculum to solve the problem of scientific research, and the sample was the players of the team of Al-Mustansiriya University and Diyala University in the handball game.

Also, an exploratory experiment was conducted to find out the obstacles, and after that the main experiment was conducted and statistical means were conducted to find out the results.

Analyzing and discussing the results and showing the statistical significance in favor of the Diyala University team, and through the results of the results, conclusions and recommendations were reached.
