Abstract EN

The Study aimed to identify the indicators of perfor- mance quality, trends of total quality management, and the ben- efits envisaged by the application oftotal quality management in colleges of physical education in Arab universities and the use of descriptive survey approach, The sample of the study consisted of faculty members as they numbered (80) members represented by (8) Arab countries.

The researcher used the questionnaire as a main tool to collect data.

The Study found that the performance quality indicators were: the Student, the faculty members, the higher management, the fi- nancial capabilities in the college, the academic curriculum.

The trends were represented in the philosophical direction, the eco- nomic direction, the direction ofoperations research, the market- ing direction, the systemic direction, the benefits envisaged, and the requirements for applying total quality management.

The Study recommended the importance of setting a future vi- Sion to achieve total quality management in colleges of physi- cal education that includes a deep civilization vision, accurate and realistic analysis and a clear future dimension in scientific progress, technological development and global competition.
