Alongside Tunisia and Tripoli in the West, Algeria represented the party of the Islamic-Ottoman force, such as the sharp blade driven deeply in Christian soil, in order to confront and fight Christians, repel the Crusades on the northern African coasts, protect Muslims from the Spanish and their harassment, and take revenge on them for what they did to the Muslims of Andalus after the fall of Granada in 1492AD.

European countries gathered their forces, and allied to force Algeria to stop exposure to its ships, and the British and Dutch navy attacked the Algerian fleet in 1816 AD, so this campaign was one of the largest and most fierce historical campaigns on the city of Algeria.
