Abstract EN

This study examines the consequences of the Corona pandemic in teaching Arabic as a second language.

The purpose of the study is to determine new vocabulary and phrases acquired by Indonesian teachers and students, as well as contextual use, language change and semantic fields, which belong to the new subject.

This study examines the Arabic learning model in Indonesia, uses literature or samples and analyses selected samples, then finally produces new vocabularies and phrases covering the semantics of science and profession in the medical, economics, sociology, and management.

There are new terms besides the general provisions, more than one area of knowledge.

These terms are most recently found in the disease, epidemiology and prevention literature in this field.

These words do not appear in the daily conversation conversations of the examples used in the Arabic curriculum.
