تصريف الأسماء و دلالاتها عند السهيلي في كتابه (الروض الأنف)‎ : دراسة صرفية دلالية

Abstract EN

The study aimed at defining Al- suhally and explain his relation to the news, biographies , the syntax and morphology of Arabic and the importance of linguistic studies in Islamic ones.

The study also explained Al –suhaily’s morphological news on some nouns included in the biography of Muhammad (peace be upon him) explaining their etymology, meanings and scholars disagreement on them where his own view was used the descriptive research methodology was adopted .

The study arrived at the following findings : 1.if the proper noun which dose not have two cases and becomes two cases for poetic lince : it will be dealt with as the annotated noun and hence its genitive case is realized via using (fatha) instead of (kasra).

2-(Except) is not related to the names of Allah – Almighty .

3-The Arabic word (ma’way) is noun ascribed to the word (water).
