Abstract EN

The aim of this study was to identify the modern trends in teaching Arabic to non- Arabic speakers, in light of the development of the world.

Teaching Arabic to non- Arabic speakers faces major challenges, and this requires a proposal from a foreign language teaching methodology that helps teachers provide language materials in an optimal manner.

The researcher used the historical and descriptive method to trace the stages of the development of methods of teaching Arabic to non-Arabic speakers, the theories and the philosophical foundations of teaching the second languages and the modern methods in teaching Arabic to non-Arabic speakers.

The study concluded the most important results which were: Modern vision of teaching Arabic to non- Arabic speakers, taking into account the principle of the practice of living the Arabic language, by stimulating the intellectual learner's ability to acquire the language.

The study adopted the selective way of teaching languages, by combining the methods to suit the needs Educated, and educational attitude, without absolute loyalty to some way.

The researcher recommended: The need to review the books of teaching Arabic to other speakers and to conduct scientific research to establish reliable standards in guiding the levels of these books.
