Abstract EN

The paper has explored istishab alhal (principle of the presumption of continuity) and its recitation from the holly Quran and the noble hadeath.

the aim is clarify that it is concerned with principle of the presumption of continuity which is the core of government and binding.

the statement of the problem tends to find a answer to this question: what are the recited principle of the presumption of continuity in the holy Quran? the study aims at highlighting the concept as well as the grammarians’ view.

the researcher seeks to examine this concept in the holy Quran and the noble hadeath.

using descriptive and historical approach, the researcher has concluded that the definitions of the grammarians are almost the same.

moreover, the grammatical evidence cited by the grammarians are many but the most common are: hearing, analogy, consensus and principle of the presumption of continuity., the latter will help linguists and grammarians to deduce the rule.

this concept depends on hearing and analogy.

the study has recommended that studies should be carried on the principles of grammar in general and controversial principles in particular in addition to the principle of the presumption of continuity and its influence on the scholars.
