Abstract EN

Summary This research concerned with studying the significance of pronouncement of the hand in the Qur'an kareem.

It presented to the topic a first study in which it dealt with the connotation of words, the relationship of the word to meaning, and showed the nature of semantic relationships and their types of lexical, social, basic and marginal, and its truth and metaphor, and the effect of context in determining the meaning.

Then he moved to a second topic in which he dealt with the true significance of the word hand, and he examined the different contexts of the Qur'anic verses in which the word “hand” was mentioned in its true meaning.

In the third topic, he dealt with the metaphorical significance of the word hand when it moved from its true meaning to its various metaphorical meanings, so the research recorded it in its pages.
