Abstract EN

In this research, the researcher wanted to shed light on the most prominent features of the legal and financial system for Waqf (Endowment) resources in Algeria.

He reviewed the most prominent stages of the development of the Waqf (Endowment) finances in Algeria, focusing on examining its resources and spending areas to provide appropriate proposals for reform and promotion.

Starting with the Ottoman era in Algeria progressing through the destructive stage(1)and stage of independence, the researcher focused on the most important modem laws that aided the development and promotion of Awqaf (Endowments) and the revival of its resources and yields.

In addition to presenting and proposing some of what was considered necessary, the researcher highlighted the status of cash Waqf (Endowment) resources, especially after Law 9110/ and the Joint Ministerial Decision that resulted in the establishment of a central fund to collect the proceeds of Waqf (Endowment) properties in Algeria
