Abstract EN

The study aimed at identifying the different recovery methods used in the professional and first football leagues teams of Sudan.

The descriptive methodology was used.

The study sample was a selection of all professional and first football league's coaches of Khartoum state & they are 15 coaches.

The tools of data collection were questionnaires.

Important results were that the most commonly used recovery method was the massage, then cold compressors, followed by other methods like swimming, sauna, jocose, which were less used.

Important recommendations: taking care of the recovery and its methods so as to increase the physical and functional abilities of the players, to consider the recovery so as to improve training load, adequate care to make sure that the professionals of physiotherapy are available at the clubs.
