Abstract EN

The aim of the current study is one of the most important connotation words of the Holy Qur'an.

It it is like a drop in a deep sea of connotations and meanings.

The significance of this word, its comprehensiveness and its use in the Holy Qur'an is studied by examining the verses to extract that treasure which is consistent to the importance of this sea and identify its significance and its polysemous usages.

Hence, the word which means maternal and paternal uncles and kin.

This study also aims to examine the semantics of each word and its relationship to its own meaning, utterances, and uses within the semantic linguistic field.

In this research, the descriptive-analytical approach is adopted.

It is concluded from the above that these terms determine the semantic breadth in the Quranic discourse and their usage.
