The study aimed to explore the psychological effects of physical punishment on the child who suffers from oppositional and defiant disorders, and we hypothesized that corporal punishment worsens oppositional and defiant disorders in children.

and made him reproduce this method with those around him, and in order to respond to the hypotheses of the study, we relied on the clinical approach, through the realization of a field study which was carried out using the techniques of observation and interview and the questionnaire on oppositional and provocative disorders, after which the study was applied to one case (female 11 years old), and it was concluded that the punishments bodily acts aggravate the behavior of opposition and provocation while causing the child to reproduce the same method in front of those around him.
