Abstract EN

The study aims to measure the impact of the money supply on the variables of the magic square of Kaldor in Algeria based on annual data for the money supply as an independent variable, and a number of approved variables represented in the unemployment rate, inflation rate, economic growth rate and external balance (balance of payments), for an extended time series from 1995 to 2019, it was found through the study that the money supply in Algeria during the study period did not have a significant impact on achieving the goal of balance, and does not contribute to achieving macroeconomic stability, that because the achieving the goals of the magic square of Kaldor is very difficult because of the conflict of these goals when there is an improvement in some of the variables of the magic square, on the other hand, there is a deterioration in other axes.
