During the Modern era, the Arab world continued to maintain the stereotype of the Middle Ages, but the event of the French campaign against Egypt in 1798 Ah 1213 made it change, this campaign showed the amount of progress made in Europe, the amount of underdevelopment experienced by the Arab world.

During the 19th century, a group of thinkers, scholars and writers appeared in the Arab world who took upon themselves the task of researching problems and finding appropriate solutions for progress, as happened in the Europe.

The first issue they addressed was how we deal with Heritage? .

The positions and visions on this issue were divided into three main positions, between those who see the necessity of fully adhering to the heritage without changing or modifying that it is within the righteousness and empowerment of the predecessor and thus also guarantees the righteousness of the successor, and between those who see the necessity of separating from heritage and adopting the Western model, as it succeeded in advancing Europe, and a third current that took a middle position, as it called for preserving the true and beneficial heritage while opening up to the Western model, and this is what we will try to study in our research, the positions of the pioneers of the Arab Renaissance during The 19th century AD from the heritage, and the solutions presented by each current.
