Abstract EN

There is no doubt that technology has revolutionized our human values.

Years ago, there was a set of valuable family practices and behaviors, and; on the other hand, there was disapproval of other practices and behavioral activities.

However, technology's intrusion into human life and; thus, becoming an integral part of his essential needs made many values, roles, and capabilities adapt to several changes through adopting new ideas and values that are far from the Algerian cultural context.

The present research highlights the value shifts of Algerian society in the light of the so-called new media.
