Abstract EN

The current study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a selective counseling program for developing psychological Hardness through the dimensions of: commitment, control, and challenge, for mothers of autistic children.

The study sample consistes of (12) mothers of autistic children, whose ages ranged between (24 -50) years old, were randomly divided into two groups: the experimental group, which includes (6) mothers of autistic children; And the control group includes (6) mothers of autistic children who have a low degree of psychological hardness in Mansoura.

The study tools included a measure of psychological hardness for mothers of autistic children (prepared by the researcher), and a selective counseling program for the development of Psychological hardness of mothers of autistic children (prepared by the researcher), and the researcher used the following statistical methods: Mann-Whitney test, Wilcoxon test for rank sign, effect size equation, Alpha Cronbach coefficient - Pearson correlation coefficient.
