Abstract EN

The General employee in all countries is the real guarantor in the operation of the public service.

To ensure this integrity and honesty, the Jordanian and Emirati legislations have been keen to refer any public officials to the judiciary in case of committing a crime (felony or misdemeanor).

The administration must await the criminal judgment issued by the competent criminal court in order to be able to inflict the appropriate punishment on the public official.

A penal sentence for the conviction of a public servant may, in effect, lead to the termination of the career bond.

Therefore, in this research I tried to study the impact of the criminal judgment issued by the right of the civil servant to terminate the career bond by demonstrating the nature of the criminal judgment leading to this termination and the relationship of the suspension of punishment and amnesty in terminating the bond.

The study was based on two subjects preceded by an introduction.

The first topic was devoted to the study of the conviction and its role in the career bond, while the second topic was to indicate the effect of the suspension of the sentence and the general amnesty on this termination.

The study concluded with a set of conclusions and recommendations.
