Abstract EN

The study aims at exploring the expectations of the Jordanian families toward the future of their disabled children and its relation to some factors.

a descriptive and analytical statistic method is being used to reveal this relation.

the study sample consist of 247 of parents and other family members.

a special tool has been developed by the authors to meet the specific aim of the study.

the tool consist a57 item divided to five major areas).

the economic and functional ; academic and education ; health and medical care ; social relation; and societal accommodation).

the results of the study reviled that almost all the families expressed concern mainly about health and medical care and education.

a statistical relation is been found between social relation the study factors and variables such as gender, monthly income, age, and place of residence.

no relation has been found between the variables and the academic and education factor.
