Abstract EN

The present study aims at examining the degree of psychological adjustment among inmates of the correctional and rehabilitation centers in the capital, Amman.

the sample of the study consists of (250) inmates from various correctional and rehabilitation centers in the governorate, and for the sake of achieving the objectives of the study, a scale to measure the psychological adaptation been developed.

its validity and reliability have been verified accordingly.

the results of the study have shown that the level of psychological adjustment among inmates at the correctional and rehabilitation centers in the capital was moderate in relation to all dimensions, except for the personal dimension which was high, moreover study results showed no significant differences between the pysyclological adjustment artihemtic means due to the study variables.
