The study aimed to identify the reality of electronic supervision in light of the Covid-19 crisis from the viewpoint of faculty members in Saudi universities between reality and hope, and to reveal whether there are statistically significant differences between the average responses of faculty members about the effectiveness of electronic supervision and the response of psychological research outputs.
Empiricism in light of the Covid-19 crisis, Saudi universities in reality, and hopefully, according to the variables: gender - degree - years of news, and the researcher followed the descriptive approach, and the sample consisted of (52) faculty members from the universities (King Abdul Aziz, King Khalid, Taiba, Jizan, and Umm Al Qura) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and a questionnaire was prepared to achieve the goal of the study, and the results resulted in the following: The effectiveness of electronic supervision in light of the Covid-19 crisis from the point of view of faculty members in Saudi universities with regard to reality came to a large extent.
- The effectiveness of electronic supervision in light of the Covid-19 crisis, from the point of view of faculty members in Saudi universities, with regard to expectations, came to a very large degree.
- There are no statistically significant differences in the total score of the questionnaire in reality according to the gender variable (male/female), and there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.01) in the hoped-for in the total score in favor of males.
- There are actually statistically significant differences in the total degree in favor of a professor and in favor of an associate professor.
It is hoped that there are no statistically significant differences in all axes and in the total degree according to the degree variable (Professor / Assistant Professor / Associate Professor).
- There are actually differences in the total score between (less than 10 years) and (from 10 to 20 years) in favor of (from 10 to 20 years), and between (less than 10 years) and (more than 20 years) in favor of (more than 20 years), and there are no differences in the expectations in the total score according to the variable of experience.
