Abstract EN

The present study aims to know the nature of the relationship between marital communication and marital violence among a sample of battered wives, and to know the extent of marital communication difference among the battered wife, according to the educational level of the spouses, and to achieve the objectives of this study and depending on the relational descriptive approach, we have applied the study tools represented in the scale Marital violence against the wife (prepared by the researcher) and marital communication scale (Adel Al-Ashwal, Taha Rabee 'Adawi, Inas Mahmoud Lotfi 2014) on an intended sample of 32 battered wives from the state of Biskra, and we processed the data statistically by means of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences, and we obtained The following results: 1- There is a negative correlation between the degrees of marital communication in its three dimensions and the degrees of marital violence among the members of the study sample.

2- There are statistically significant differences in the degrees of marital communication among the sample members due to the educational level of the husband.

3- There are no statistically significant differences in the degrees of marital communication among the sample members due to the educational level of the wife.
