Abstract EN

This study is concerned with highlighting the impact of the quantitative tools of monetary policy on some variables of the real economy in Algeria, which are represented in the consumer price index, and the real non-oil output in Algeria, depending on the descriptive approach and the standard approach.

, using the SVAR structural autoregressive vector models approach, and using quarterly data extended during the period (2005-2017).

The results of the structural impulse response functions reached a positive and moral response to both the real non-oil output and the consumer price index, when the Bank of Algeria moved its quantitative tools represented in (the mandatory reserve tool, the liquidity recovery for 07 days, the deposit facility tool yield of interest), while the results of the variance analysis of the variables of the study showed that the quantitative tools of monetary policy explain the bulk of the changes that occur in the variables of the real economy in Algeria under study, which indicates the strength of the impact of these quantitative tools of monetary policy in the real economy in Algeria.
