Abstract EN

The aim of the study: is the extrapolation of teachers' and students' opinions about teaching strategies' nature in which the faculty members using it in the Algerian university and about their degree of mastery.

In order to fulfil that scientific aim the study used the descriptive analytical method through the theoretical analytical literature about the teaching strategies as well as, standing on the results of a number of field studies conducted by a number of researchers in some of Algerian universities about that subject.

Study' results, the study found that the faculty members in the Algerian university still faithful to the lecture in teaching operation and that he is not interested in the other strategies for many subjective and objective reasons.
